Edward J. Wilson is co-founder, CFO, and Publisher of Wilson Language Training (WLT) Corporation, which is dedicated to “Literacy for All” and strives to empower individual educators, schools, and districts to achieve literacy with all students in their care. He and his wife, Barbara, founded WLT in 1985 and have devoted over three decades to the education of children and adults with dyslexia and successfully scaling up the work of the company, leading the transition from a private learning center model to a 200+ employee company. A resident of Amesbury, he has served on the Board of Directors for the New England Branch of the Orton Dyslexia Society for six years, the Executive Board of the International Dyslexia Association for seven years, and was the founding treasurer of the International Multisensory Structured Language Council. Wilson attended Northeastern University. In 2010, Ed and Barbara Wilson each received an Honorary Degree in Humane Letters from Becker.
