These key components are developed for a variety of applications and industries, such as the packaging industry, additive manufacturing, the printing and paper industry, the wood industry, the electronics industry or medical technology. With customised solutions and a wide range of services, Becker enhances the efficiency of plants, ensures a high level of availability and reduces maintenance costs. Headquartered in Wuppertal, Germany, the family-owned company is active worldwide with three production sites, 16 subsidiaries and over 50 agencies. The company repeatedly pioneered new developments in vacuum and pneumatic technology. To continue this trend in the future, the research and development department cooperates with renowned partners such as the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft in Aachen and Dortmund, as well as the universities and technical colleges in Freiburg, Merseburg, Bochum, Zittau/Görlitz, Wuppertal and Aachen. The focus behind the cooperation lies on the technological development and fundamental research, application research, company organisation, quality management and human resource development.

Supporting new talent has a high priority – not only in own training workshops, but also by supporting external educational institutions. Becker offers internships to high school and university students in Wuppertal and in international subsidiaries abroad. The Becker support fund enables young employees to work abroad in partner companies.
