Bill Buchanan

President at Becker Media

Bill Buchanan has a long and varied work experience. From 1995 to 2003, they held the position of Executive Vice President at Providian Financial, where they developed strategies and implemented all new customer growth activities. In 2002, they founded Grace Global Enterprises, a small business with annual revenue of $500k from internet based lead generation for credit card companies. In 2003, they became Vice President Marketing at Greenpoint Mortgage, where they developed and began executing a marketing strategy to increase consumer direct mortgage originations from $2 billion/year to $10 billion/year. From 2004 to 2012, they were Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President at Corinthian Colleges, managing over 75 marketing associates, a $200 million budget, and generating over $1.5 billion in annual revenue. In 2012, they became a Board Member and School Commissioner at the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). Since 2015, they have been President and CEO of Becker Media, a full service marketing agency for schools.

Bill Buchanan obtained their Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley in 1988. In 2014, they attended the University of Chicago Booth School of Business for Executive Education in Finance for Executives.
