Beatrice Janka

Beatrice Janka is a seasoned Senior Product Development Engineer and Clinical Prosthetist-Orthotist at Becker Orthopedic since January 2015, with an extensive background in the fields of prosthetics and orthotics. Previous positions include Resident Prosthetist and Orthotist at UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas from May 2011 to December 2014, and various technician roles in prosthetics, including at Advanced Arm Dynamics and Northern Orthotics and Prosthetics. Beatrice holds a Master’s degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics from UT Southwestern Medical Center and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University. Additionally, significant contributions were made during engineering co-op experiences at Kimberly-Clark, including the design of a testing apparatus projected to save the company $80,000 annually.
