Mackenzie Bean has gained a diverse range of work experience. Mackenzie started their career at Becker's Healthcare in May 2016 as a Writer/Reporter before moving up to Assistant Editor in July 2017. Mackenzie then became an Editor in February 2019 and later transitioned to the role of Managing Editor in June 2019. Mackenzie is currently working as an Associate Vice President at Becker's Healthcare, a position they have held since October 2022. Prior to joining Becker's Healthcare, Mackenzie worked as a Tech & Social Media Intern at the Iowa Youth Writing Project from August 2015 to May 2016.
Mackenzie Bean completed their Bachelor's Degree in English with a Creative Writing Track at the University of Iowa from 2012 to 2015.
