Katy Flannery

Co-Founder & Co-CEO at Beckon Ice cream

Katy Flannery began their career in 2012 as a Registered Nurse at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. In 2013, they moved to Boston Children's Hospital in the same role. In 2015, they co-founded and co-became CEO of Beckon Ice Cream, the first clean label lactose-free ice cream in the freezer aisle. In 2018, they joined the Peapod UNFI Advisory Board as an Advisory Board Member. In 2021, they were selected as a 2021 Tory Burch Fellow, a year-long program for women entrepreneurs to help them grow and scale their businesses.

Katy Flannery attended Villanova University from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a field of study in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Katy also attended Penn State University for an Ice Cream Short Course.
