Aaron Fleming

Aaron Fleming is a Staff Scientist at BD specializing in product innovation and machine learning applications in healthcare. With a multidisciplinary background in computational, biomedical, and mechanical engineering, Aaron has deep expertise in translational research and human-centered design. Previously, Aaron served as a postdoctoral researcher at North Carolina State University, focusing on machine learning algorithms related to reward-related behaviors and the design of prosthetic devices. As a NIH F31 fellow, Aaron published significant work in notable journals, bridging cutting-edge research with real-world solutions. Additionally, Aaron co-founded AVEX Motion and OpenGait Prosthetics, Inc., aiming to enhance rehabilitation systems and prosthetics for various contexts.
