Bryan O'Neill

Bryan O'Neill, Ph.D., is the Director of Project/Program Management for Companion Diagnostics and Pharma Partnerships at BD Biosciences, where they leverage over 11 years of expertise at the intersection of life sciences and strategic business initiatives. Previously, Bryan co-founded Sapphire Energy, a renewable energy startup that raised over $300 million for algae-based biofuels and managed complex cross-functional projects. Bryan holds a Ph.D. in Biology from The Scripps Research Institute, a B.A. in Chemistry from the University of San Diego, and completed the CORe program at Harvard Business School. An inventor on multiple patents, Bryan also maintains PMP® certification and specializes in product development, portfolio management, and critical project leadership.
