David Wild

David Wild is the current Director of Digital Marketing at Becton Dickinson. Prior to this, they held the position of Marketing and Communications Committee Chair at Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) from January 2014 to August 2017. In this role, David was responsible for increasing awareness of SIIM, enhancing its reputation, recruiting new members, retaining existing members, and encouraging participation in SIIM activities. David also provided guidance in the marketing of programs and services to members, researched new target audiences and segments, developed and implemented marketing strategies, and developed collaborative relationships and partnerships with vendors.

Before their time at SIIM, David worked as the Senior Director of Marketing for Radiology Informatics at FUJIFILM Medical Systems U.S.A., Inc. from September 2006 to August 2017. In this role, they oversaw the downstream marketing group for Fujifilm Synapse Radiology software portfolio, which represented 4,500 clients globally across four product lines: Radiology PACS, RIS, 3D, and Communications. David was responsible for strategic planning for healthcare informatics software portfolio, channel management, developing strategic messaging and communications for each phase of the buyer's journey, leading software product commercialization and pricing strategy, managing the field service marketing team, supporting society messaging and trade show experience, and leading product development lifecycle for software releases. David also managed the creation of customer-facing sales collateral, the product release schedule, the product website, and

David Wild studied policy studies as an undergraduate at Syracuse University. David then went on to complete a certification from the CITI Program in Biomedical Research.

Their manager is Robin Blackburn, VP, Digital Marketing. They are on a team with Kenny Eicher - Creative Director, Nazish Amir-Siddiqi - Director of Web Management & Data Governance, and Yuliya Vexler - Senior Administrative Assistant.
