Joe Mummert

Joe Mummert is a Senior Staff Engineer at BD, where they lead cross-functional teams in product development and mentor R&D technical leads. Previously, Joe gained experience at Stryker in R&D Engineering and worked as an Investment Manager at Merrill Lynch. Joe earned an MBA from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and holds both a B.S. and an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Akron and the University of Connecticut, respectively. Joe began their career with internships at Summa Health and research roles at the University of Washington. Outside of work, Joe resides in Ramsey, NJ, and enjoys marathon running and community service.
