Mackenzie Quist

Mackenzie Quist is an accomplished professional with a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Indiana University Bloomington. Experience includes a role as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at van Kessel Laboratory, where research focused on gene regulation in Vibrio species and involved constructing transcriptional reporter plasmids, identifying operons, and presenting findings. Mackenzie also interned at BD in Infection Prevention R&D, conducting efficacy testing of disinfectants on medical devices and maintaining accurate documentation. Currently, Mackenzie serves as a Scientist I in Microbiology R&D, collaborating on microbiological testing, project support for product submissions, and conducting bactericidal efficacy testing in compliance with industry standards.
