Mayra Ocasio

Mayra Ocasio is an experienced ISO 9001 quality engineer with over 10 years in R&D and Quality Control Laboratories, specializing in Statistical Data Analysis and chemical laboratory instrumentation. They have held positions including Professor and Director of the Science College at Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico, and an Analytical Services and Quality Control Laboratory Manager at HP. Currently, Mayra serves as a Senior Quality Engineer at BD and has previously worked at Zimmer Biomet and Edwards Lifesciences. They possess strong leadership and organizational skills and are fully bilingual in English and Spanish. Mayra holds multiple advanced degrees in Physical Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez.
