Tom Walsh

Tom Walsh is an accomplished engineering and operations leader with extensive experience in manufacturing and continuous improvement. Since December 2008, Tom has held various positions at BD, including Program Director for MDS Cost Excellence and Associate Director of Worldwide Operations. Prior to BD, Tom served as a Director on the Board of Directors at the Andover School of Montessori and worked as a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Plasma Physics R&D at Varian Semiconductor. Earlier in Tom's career, experience also included a Process Development Engineer role at Fraunhofer USA CMI. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Manufacturing Engineering and Automation from Boston University College of Engineering.
