Gene Casady

Gene Casady currently serves as the Vice President of Enterprise Cybersecurity Solutions at BECU since November 2025. Previously, Gene held key cybersecurity leadership roles, including Deputy CISO at Equinix and VP of Security Services at Global Payments Inc., where significant initiatives such as mitigating targeted attacks and enhancing security architecture were undertaken. Gene's career encompasses founding security programs at E*TRADE, establishing a Security Operations Center at Macy's, and providing security advisory services with FireEye, among other positions in reputable organizations. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Computer and Information Systems Security from Boston University, a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Park University, and an Associate of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Community College of the Air Force.
