Joie Missiaen

Joie Missiaen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in architecture and design management. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Workplace Strategy & Design at BECU since July 2014, Joie oversees design-related projects, fostering collaboration across various departments while managing architectural development and ensuring alignment with corporate identity and quality standards. Previously, as the Director at FOI Commercial Interiors, Joie implemented a creative division and fostered business relationships across the Pacific Northwest and internationally. Joie also held the position of Senior Project Manager at Marvin Stein & Associates, leading design efforts for commercial projects, and served as Design Project Manager at Starbucks Coffee Company, managing architectural processes for projects across Canada. Joie holds a Master's degree in Architecture from Washington State University, completed in 2000.
