Stephen Symmes

Stephen Symmes is a seasoned audiovisual and operations engineer with extensive experience in technology deployment and support. Currently serving as a Sr. AV/Operations Engineer at BECU since February 2018, Stephen has successfully implemented Microsoft Teams Room solutions to enhance meeting experiences and supports a variety of AV technologies. Previous roles include an AV Engineer for Google through Astreya, where responsibilities included leading AV support for key locations, and a Sr. Media Technician for Compass Group, managing AV for exclusive spaces at Microsoft. Stephen's freelance experience encompasses project management, video production, and audio-visual support. Earlier career highlights include producing and directing shows for CVS Health, providing media expertise at Gallup, and working as an Audio Visual Technician at the Seattle Art Museum. Stephen holds a Bachelor's Degree in New Media with a minor in Computer Science from Western Washington University.
