Ged Thompson is an experienced professional in risk and compliance management with a robust background in data protection and internal auditing. Currently serving as Head of Risk and Compliance at Bede Gaming Ltd since July 2016, Ged oversees the interface between compliance, information security, and the broader business, while managing the internal audit process and acting as the nominated Data Protection Officer. Previously, at Sage Software from December 2007 to July 2016, Ged held the position of Data Compliance Manager, ensuring adherence to privacy and data protection legislation, and provided guidance on related issues. Early career experience includes serving as CPO(CT) in the Royal Navy from 1991 to 2001.
