Cynthia Hawthorne

Cynthia Hawthorne is currently the Assistant Superintendent for Business & Administration in the Bedford Central School District.

Cynthia previously worked as the School Business Administrator in the Webutuck Central School District from July 2014 to July 2019.

Before that, they were the Principal Accounting Clerk at the Poughkeepsie Housing Authority from May 2005 to October 2008.

Her first job out of college was as a Finance Manager at AT&T from April 1996 to June 2003.

Cynthia Hawthorne has a certificate of advanced study in school business leadership from the State University of New York at New Paltz, a master's degree in business administration from SUNY New Paltz, and a bachelor's degree in accounting from City University of New York-Herbert H. Lehman College. Cynthia also has a degree in communication and media studies from Hunter College.
