Geovanni Livingston, M.Ed. MHC has extensive work experience in various roles. Geovanni started their career as a Barber Instructor at the New England Hair Academy in 2003, where they instructed and mentored students in the skills required for employment in a barber shop. In 2005, they transitioned to Berea Sda Academy as a High, Middle, and Elementary School Spanish and Art Teacher, where they taught and supported students in grades 3 and 4.

In 2015, Geovanni joined DFAS as a DMPO Intern, managing day-to-day activities related to paperwork for incoming and outgoing military personnel. Geovanni conducted financial briefings for active duty service members and ensured the proper handling and documentation of sensitive documents. Geovanni also prepared in-processing and out-processing documents for service members.

From 2003 to 2015, Geovanni served in the US Army as a Motor Transport Operator. In this role, they supervised team members conducting vehicle transportation operations and was responsible for the safe transportation of soldiers and equipment. Geovanni also performed routine maintenance checks and reported any issues for repair.

In 2018, Geovanni joined Abelard Psychotherapy & Associates as a Mental Health Counselor, providing community-based services to children, adolescents, and their families. Geovanni'sresponsibilities included skill-building, crisis management, and case management.

From 2021 to 2022, Geovanni worked for the Boston Medical Center and Boston Police Department as a Co-Responder Mental Health Clinician in the BEST Criminal Diversion Program. Geovanni responded to 911 calls alongside police officers and provided on-site triage and clinical support. Geovanni also helped connect individuals with needed services to keep them safely in the community.

Currently, Geovanni is employed as a Mental Health Counselor at Bedrock Recovery Center, where they focus on trauma-informed inpatient treatment and early recovery. Geovanni'sresponsibilities include emotional and physical stabilization, promoting a trauma-informed environment, and coordinating aftercare resources for ongoing treatment and recovery.

Geovanni Livingston, M.Ed. MHC has a diverse education history. Geovanni obtained a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling/Counselor from Cambridge College, graduating in December 2018. Before that, Geovanni completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Phoenix, which spanned from 2006 to 2014.

In addition to their academic achievements, Geovanni has obtained several certifications. Geovanni completed the Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course from the AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION, which they attended from 2017 to 2019. Geovanni also holds certifications in Lean Six Sigma from the United States Army Medical Command, Facilities Engineering from the US Army, and the US Army Leadership Developmental Program. Furthermore, they have acquired a Master Barber license from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Licensing Division.
