Alexander Merritt

Alexander Merritt is a highly experienced software engineer with a strong background in systems software and virtualization. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer on both the Active Security Team and Systems Team at BlueRock Security since March 2021, Alexander previously worked at Intel Corporation from August 2017 to March 2021, focusing on virtualization software for embedded systems and autonomous driving systems software. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and a BA in Computer Science from Rochester Institute of Technology. Alexander has held various research intern positions at prominent organizations such as Hewlett Packard Labs and Sandia National Laboratories, contributing significantly to projects related to operating system optimizations, memory management, and virtualization technologies throughout the academic and professional career.
