Kortney Watts

Kortney Watts is a seasoned professional in event management and catering, currently serving as a Senior Events Associate at Bedrock Detroit since January 2023. Prior experience includes holding the position of Director of Catering at Cutting Edge Cuisine from July 2020 to January 2023, where Kortney managed front and back of house operations, planned events, managed budgets, created staff schedules, and initiated a staffing company. Previous roles also include Sales Manager at Cutting Edge Cuisine, Sales and Event Manager at Big Rock Chophouse and The Reserve, Sales Coordinator at Laurel Manor, and Marketing and Public Relations Manager at The Social Connection. Kortney began a career in the hospitality industry as a Disney College Program Intern at The Walt Disney Company, which provided foundational experience in hospitality. Education includes a degree in Public Relations/Event Management from Central Michigan University and training from Disney University.
