Tarek Waked serves as the Director of Bariatric Surgery at Beebe Healthcare since March 2021 and is a Co-Founder of NutriHealth Weight Loss Centers, which has been operational since January 2020. Previously, Tarek Waked held the position of Director of Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital from May 2015 to March 2021, and worked as a Bariatric and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeon at Delmarva Bariatric Center between June 2013 and April 2015. Tarek Waked's surgical expertise includes laparoscopic gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, duodenal switch procedures, laparoscopic surgical oncology, and robotic surgery. Tarek Waked's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine obtained from Mayo Clinic and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the American University of Beirut.
