Mariana O. Garrigós Leite

Mariana O. Garrigós Leite has been working in the field of entomology since 2011. Mariana began their career as an intern at the Instituto Biologico and CATI - COORDENADORIA DE ASSISTÊNCIA TÉCNICA INTEGRAL, where they worked on a project involving temperate fruits, nursery, grafting, plantation and technical visits. In 2011, they also began working as a researcher at Tecnano Pesquisa & Serviços Ltda. In 2015, they took on a role as a service provider at Ourofino. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Technician CNPq DTI - 3 at the Laboratório de Ecologia Química e Comportamento de Insetos. Mariana also worked as a researcher at ProInsecta Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento from 2017 to 2018. Since 2018, they have been an Aluna Doutorado Entomologia at USP / ESALQ and, most recently, in 2021, they took on the role of Pollination Scientist at Beeflow.

Mariana O. Garrigós Leite has a comprehensive educational background. Mariana obtained a Bachelor's degree in Agronomic Engineering from the Escola Superior de Agricultura "Luiz de Queiroz" in 2008-2013. Following that, they obtained a Master's degree in Entomology from the Universidade de São Paulo in 2014-2016. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Biological Control and Bees from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen and a Doctoranda in Entomology from the Universidade de São Paulo (Laboratorio de Patologia e Controle Microbiano) both in 2018-2022.
