Tyler Tong McDermott

Tyler Tong McDermott is an experienced professional in the field of innovation banking and investment. Currently serving as an Associate and previously as an Analyst at CIBC's Innovation Banking division, Tyler has demonstrated expertise in supporting startups and financial services. As Program Director at FoundersBoost, Tyler has contributed to the development of emerging businesses, while also serving as a Mentor at Beeloud. Additional experience includes roles in investments at Clearco and as an Account Executive at iCapital. Tyler holds an Honors Bachelor’s of Arts degree from the University of Toronto - Victoria University and completed an undergraduate research thesis at the Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy with a focus on peace.
