Javier Serrano B. has a wide range of professional experience, beginning in 2010 when they were an Ingeniero Trainee at Enaex. Javier then moved on to become a Profesor Titular at Universidad Tecnológica de Chile, INACAP in 2011. In 2012, they were an Ingeniero de Proyectos at GeoBlast and an Asesor at LifeGenomics, Corfo. In 2016, they were an Ingeniero de Gestión y Proyectos at NGA Chile, AGEOS GROUP LTDA., University of Chile Spin-off. From 2017 to 2020, they were an Ingeniero de Proyectos y Mejora continua at SGO.cl and a Consultor de gestión empresarial. Currently, they are the Director of Customer Success at BeeReaders.

Javier Serrano B. has a background in engineering, having obtained an Ingeniería degree from Universidad Tecnica Federico Santa Maria in 2018, as well as an Ingeniería de minas degree from Universidad de Santiago de Chile in 2011. Javier also completed a Global English Course from the University of Sydney in 2019. In 2020, they obtained a Leading Digital Transformation, Professional Program from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Additionally, they hold three certifications: Planificación y gestión estratégica para pymes from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, SCRUM FOUNDATIONS PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE (SFPC) from CertiProf, and Gestión de proyectos con metodologías Ágiles y enfoques Lean from Telefónica Educación Digital.
