Christos Savva

Christos Savva has a diverse work experience, starting in 2009 as an Audit Assistant at Deloitte. Christos then progressed to roles such as Audit Senior, Consultant, and Senior Consultant before becoming an Assistant Manager at Deloitte. In 2014, they joined Velistar Consulting & Solutions as an Applications Developer. In 2016, they became the Executive Director at Cyprus Astronomy Organisation. Currently, they work as a Senior Developer at Beezwax Datatools, Inc.

Christos Savva has a diverse education history. Starting from 2022 to 2024, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Prior to this, they completed a Nanodegree in Intermediate Python from Udacity between 2019 and 2021. Additionally, they obtained two other Nanodegrees from Udacity: one in React (2020-2021) and another in Introduction to Machine Learning (2020).

Before focusing on computer science, Christos pursued a career in finance and accounting. Christos obtained a Fellowship of Chartered Accountants (FCA) from ICAEW in 2012 and a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Bath in 2009. Christos also holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics from the University of Bath, which they completed between 2005 and 2008. Furthermore, they pursued a Diploma in Astronomy from the University of Central Lancashire, spanning from 2007 to 2014.

In terms of additional certifications, Christos has several achievements. Christos became an App Developer for Claris Connect Associate through Claris, an Apple company, in June 2023. Christos also obtained certifications from LinkedIn such as "Building a Personal Portfolio with Django" (June 2023), "Deploying Django Apps: Make Your Site Go Live" (June 2023), "Claris FileMaker Certified Developer" (May 2023), "Django: Forms" (May 2023), and "Django Essential Training" (April 2023). In addition, they completed multiple Coursera Verified Certificates including "Developing Data Products" (June 2015), "Exploratory Data Analysis" (June 2015), "Practical Machine Learning" (June 2015), "Getting and Cleaning Data" (May 2015), "R Programming" (March 2015), and "The Data Scientist’s Toolbox" (March 2015). Lastly, they obtained a certification in Human-Computer Interaction from Coursera in November 2012 and became an AWS Certified Developer – Associate through Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2020.
