Bjorn Ottesen has worked in the software engineering and development industry since 2007. Bjorn began their career at M1 Interactive as an Interactive Media Designer & Developer, where they designed and developed interactive content for the Respondr tracking system. Theirprimary skillset was Flash:AS2/AS3, PHP. In 2009, they moved to Kronum, LLC as a Lead Interactive Developer. In 2012, they took a position at INOR, Inc as a Frontend/Backend Web Developer. In 2013, they moved to Big Finish Games as a Full Motion Video 3D/VFX Artist, where they were responsible for designing, modeling, texturing, animating and compositing a wide variety of CG elements for cinematic sequences in the game, as well as re-mastering several clips from old DOS-based games to display in HD to be shown as in-game flashbacks. Bjorn used 3D Studio Max, After Effects, Premiere, and Photoshop. In 2014, they joined BeFunky Inc. as a Senior Lead Software Engineer.
Bjorn Ottesen earned a B.S. in Informatics - Art & Media Science from Indiana University Bloomington in 2006. Bjorn then went on to earn an M.S. in Immersive Mediated Environments from the same university in 2008.
