Samantha Muscat-Scherr

Samantha Muscat-Scherr is a highly experienced product designer who began their career as a graphic designer and event promoter at Pho Sure Vietnamese Restaurant in 2009. Samantha then worked as a graphic/web design intern at Ideawire, Inc. in 2012 before taking on the role of graphic designer at Heaven Sent Promotions & Apparel later that year. In 2013, Samantha joined The Broadway Agency as a graphic designer and was promoted to art director within six months. Samantha supervised a team of designers and interns and received praise for their work on a 72-page member resource book. Samantha then served as an art director at esd & associates in 2015, where they attracted new accounts and created successful website designs. From 2017 to 2022, they worked as a UX/UI designer at KCTS 9, Cascade Public Media, before joining BEGiN as a product designer in 2022. Throughout their career, Samantha has consistently demonstrated their ability to meet client expectations, manage projects effectively, and create high-quality designs.

Samantha Muscat-Scherr completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at The University of Texas at San Antonio from 2005 to 2008. Samantha then pursued an Associate of Applied Science degree in Graphic Design at San Antonio College from 2010 to 2012. Samantha furthered their education by obtaining a User Centered Design Certificate from the University of Washington in 2016-2017. Samantha then went on to complete their Master of Science degree in Human Centered Design & Engineering, with a specialization in User Experience, at the University of Washington from 2017 to 2019.
