Soraya Mathews

Soraya Mathews is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in compliance and legal roles within healthcare and law. Currently serving as Director of Compliance at Behavior Frontiers since July 2024, Soraya has held key compliance positions, including Compliance Officer at Advocate RCM and Medical Records Specialist at CA Billing. Soraya’s legal experience includes roles as a Law Clerk and Certified Law Clerk with the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office and a Summer Law Clerk at Ventura County District Attorneys Office. Additionally, Soraya has a strong background in compliance from previous positions at Alo House Recovery Centers, where responsibilities included oversight of admissions and Joint Commission compliance from 2014 to 2017. Soraya holds a Doctor of Law degree from Golden Gate University, a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology from Oregon State University, and has pursued further education in Forensic Psychology at Walden University.
