Denise Bergh

Denise regularly attends autism related conferences, educating herself on everything from traditional therapies to special diets to chiropractic care for children with Autism. Denise started a local support group for mothers of children with autism and serves as a volunteer mentor for the local TACA chapter.

Denise actively serves as the Treasurer for ABLE academy, an Illinois Non-public Special Education School specializing in ABA. She joined forces with Candice Gizewski to navigate the approval process with ISBE. ABLE accepted its first student in September of 2018.

Denise graduated from the University of Illinois in Champaign Urbana with a B.S. in Psychology. She worked for 15 years for a Property Management Company in Operations. She joined Behavioral Perspective Inc. in May 2014, working as a Parent Liaison to provide support to parents, as well as performing community outreach, organizing events, and providing guidance on outside resources and complementary therapies. In July of 2015, Denise shifted her responsibilities to Operations. She is passionate about maintaining a supportive environment where clients and staff can grow.
