Ingo Deutschmann

SVP, Engineering at BehavioSec

Ingo is our SVP of Engineering. He is responsible for our engineering function, team, and strategy at the highest level, including spearheading and guiding the innovation of new technology, architecture, and features.

As a seasoned security professional, he brings a strong background in software development, consulting, and product services. Ingo holds an extensive worldwide patent portfolio, ranging from smartcards to behavioral biometric software. Ingo’s last role was as General Manager at Gemplus in Germany, leading security software development and R&D operations. He has also served as Vice President of Development at PKI Specialists, Celo Communications (Celo) and was a co-developer of the hardware antivirus solution called ExVira.

Ingo holds a M.Sc. in Mathematics from Friedrich Schiller University of Jena in Germany, and currently resides in Merseburg, Germany. He enjoys sailing during the summer months and has circumnavigated the globe on his catamaran.
