Michael Hughes

A consultant radiologist for approaching three decades, Mike has a wealth of wide ranging experience in the NHS, private sector and more recently the tele-radiology arenas of radiological practise. He has a natural enthusiasm for adopting and implementing new technologies to help serve the increasing demands for radiology – with a particular emphasis on the district general hospital environment.

He is an experienced teacher at pre and postgraduate levels on medical, nursing and radiographer courses as well as holding post-graduate tutor role for over five years at Warwick & Stratford upon Avon Hospitals. He is also a co-author (with his medical brother) of two radiology texts for student and MRCP exam levels.

Mike believes they are at the dawning of a new age of technology and computer assisted radiology services which will lead to a dramatic improvement for clinical colleagues and patients alike. The focus on timely access to radiology results and subsequent improved patient safety is his motivation in contributing to the behold.ai projects.
