Larry Deering

Operating Partner at Behrman Capital

Mr. Deering has served as a Behrman Capital Operating Partner over multiple periods since July 2006. He has more than 40 years of operating experience in the healthcare field, particularly in skilled nursing, home health, hospice, pharmacy, physical therapy and managed care. He served as the Chairman and CEO of Ark Holdings, a nursing home chain owned by Behrman Capital for six years which was sold to a REIT, and the Chairman, CEO and Co-founder of Tandem Health Care, also owned by Behrman for over eight years until it was also sold to a REIT. Prior to that, he was the Chief Operating Officer of publicly-traded Mariner Health Group and a senior executive of Legend Medical Services, Meritcare, and Summit Care.

Most recently, Mr. Deering was the Chief Executive Officer of Regency Integrated Health Services, a post-acute care system, for six years which was successfully sold to a not-for-profit healthcare provider.
