Jonathan Liu

Jonathan Liu currently serves as the CEO of the BeiGene Innovation Center and Chairman of the Board of BeiGene Biologics, Co., Ltd., where responsibilities include establishment, operation, financing, talent management, and innovation incubation. Prior to this role, Jonathan held various leadership positions in prominent pharmaceutical companies, including China Head of Pharmaceutical Development and Manufacturing Sciences at Johnson & Johnson, and Head of Scientific Operations at Novartis. Jonathan's experience also encompasses roles at Kalon Biotherapeutics, AstraZeneca, Sanofi, Pfizer, and as a Fellow at Harvard Medical School. Jonathan holds a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from Queen's University and a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Harvard Medical School, along with a M.S. in Microbiology and Pathology and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Hunan Agricultural University.
