Liam Maguire

Climate Finance Analyst at Climate Policy Initiative

Liam Maguire is a Climate Finance Analyst at the Climate Policy Initiative since July 2024. Previous experience includes serving as a Citizen Diplomacy Action Fund Grantee with the U.S. Department of State, where collaboration occurred with Kenyan NGOs on a project addressing misinformation and disinformation. As a Harold W. Rosenthal Fellow in International Relations at IOM - UN Migration, Liam focused on migration, environment, and climate change issues in Kenya. Additional roles include Program Assistant at USAID's Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance, where involvement in African and Venezuelan response management took place, and teaching as a volunteer with the Peace Corps in Namibia. Liam's academic background consists of a Master in Public Affairs from Princeton University and a Magna Cum Laude B.A. in International Studies from Boston College.
