Neil Chin has worked as a Climate Finance Consultant at Climate Policy Initiative since September 2022. Prior to this, they were a Graduate Intern in Climate Finance at the same company from June 2022 to August 2022. In 2022, they also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Columbia | SIPA. From June 2021 to May 2022, Neil was an intern in Raising Global Climate Ambition at the World Resources Institute. Neil started their career as a Research Assistant at the Northwestern University Workforce Science Project from September 2019 to May 2021. Neil Chin's education history includes a variety of academic experiences. Neil attended Lowell High School from 2012 to 2016 and earned their High School Diploma. Neil then enrolled at Northwestern University from 2016 to 2020, where they completed a Bachelor of Arts degree. Neil'sfield of study at Northwestern included Economics, International Studies, and the Initiative for Sustainability and Energy. In 2018, Neil joined the General Course at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), focusing on Economics. Neil also participated in a Summer Fellowship program at Peking University in 2018, where they studied Energy Technology and Policy. In 2020, Neil pursued a Language Training Course at National Taiwan University. Currently, from 2021 to 2023, they are pursuing a Master of International Affairs degree with a specialization in Energy and Environment as well as Data Analytics and Quantitative Analysis at Columbia | SIPA.
