Nabil Alkahlout

Nabil AlKahlout has a diverse work experience in the IT field. Nabil started their career as an IT Support Engineer at Al Jazeera Children's Channel in 2005 and later moved on to become a Software Developer. From 2007 to 2012, they worked as an Infrastructure and Services Engineer, where they administered Active Directory, Exchange Server, File Server, Print Server, Citrix Server, and Barracuda Web Filtering. Nabil also tested new hardware and software and developed reports and databases.

In 2012, Nabil became a System Storage & Support Supervisor at the same company. In this role, they were responsible for supervising a team and maintaining the team's achievements according to the organization's vision. Nabil also approved vendors and monitored their financial condition, as well as major projects, IT budgets, priorities, standards, procedures, and IT performance.

In 2014, Nabil joined Al Jazeera Media Network as a Principal IT Systems Operations specialist. Nabil ensured the smooth running of the organization's systems infrastructure and handled system failures, security attacks, and outages. Nabil provided remote support, configuration, and maintenance for servers.

In 2017, Nabil transitioned to beIN Media Group, where they initially worked as a Principal Systems Engineer. Nabil acted as a team leader for system administration and maintenance and resolved system failures, security attacks, and outages. Nabil provided remote support, configuration, and maintenance for servers.

Currently, Nabil holds the position of Principal Planning Specialist at beIN Media Group. In this role, they are responsible for researching, coordinating, and building the organization's IT strategy, roadmap, project and service portfolios. Nabil prepares budgets, manages vendor relationships and contracts, and provides communications and presentations for various activities.

Nabil AlKahlout obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Qatar from 2001 to 2005. Nabil has also acquired several certifications, including Microsoft Teams App Advocate, Microsoft Teams Change Ambassador, Microsoft Work From Home Enabled (WFH Enabled), Securing Networks with Cisco Firepower Next Generation Firewall, Cloud Architecture: Core Concepts, Digital Transformation, Microsoft Project Quick Tips, Project Management Foundations, Scrum: Advanced, Scrum: The Basics, Commvalute Certified Professional, SAS Cloud Certified Engineer, PRINCE2 Foundation Certificate in Project Management, and ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management.
