Stephen Ridgway

Stephen Ridgway has extensive experience in the legal and business affairs field, particularly in the sports and media industry. Stephen is currently the Vice President and Head of Legal & Business Affairs at beIN MEDIA GROUP, where they oversee global sports media rights acquisitions and distribution for beIN Sports channels and services in 42 countries worldwide. Prior to this, they worked at Sky from 2013 to 2018, holding various roles including Head Counsel for Sky Sports, where they were responsible for managing media rights agreements with major sports rights holders and overseeing legal, commercial, and regulatory matters. Before their time at Sky, Stephen worked at Dentons as an Associate, specializing in sports and media law, and at IMG Media as a Commercial Manager and Account Manager.

Stephen Ridgway attended UCL from 1993 to 1997, where they received a BA (Hons) in French. Stephen then pursued further education, earning a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from City, University of London from 2002 to 2003. In 2003, Stephen completed their education at the University of Law, London, obtaining a Legal Practice Course degree in Law.
