Samson Chen MD (He/Him)

Samson Chen MD has an extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Samson is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at BEINGBIO since October 2022. Prior to this, Samson Chen MD held the position of Vice President of business and New Product Development at RealTime Laboratories, Inc. Samson also worked as the Chief Executive Officer at BioLabs International, LLC from April 2020 to June 2022. Before that, from August 2008 to April 2020, he served as the Senior Vice President, Worldwide Business Development at MP Biomedicals. Samson Chen MD also had experience working at Thermo Fisher Scientific as part of the Market Development team from September 2010 to March 2012. Prior to that, he served as the General Manager of Business Development, Asia Pacific Region at Novartis. Samson was the CEO/Founder of Kingwell Biotech (Shanghai) PTE from 2005 to 2007. Samson Chen MD started their career at Roche as the Director of Business Unit, Clinical Diagnostics, POC & Applied Sciences from January 2000 to December 2005. Lastly, he worked as the Global Product Marketing Manager, Worldwide at BD Critical Care from 1996 to 2000.

Samson Chen MD studied at the National University of Singapore from 1991 to 1993, where he completed a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with a focus on Medical Clinical Sciences/Graduate Medical Studies. In addition, Samson Chen MD also attained a Master of Sciences (M.Sc) in Pharmacology & Toxicology from the same institution in 1993. Furthermore, they obtained certifications such as Competent Communicator (CC) at Toastmasters International from the Prudent Prodigy International Online Toastmasters Club in 2009.
