Jacob King is an experienced professional with a diverse background in management and operations. Currently serving as an Estimator at Beisser Lumber Co. since March 2022, Jacob previously held the position of Assistant Property Manager at BBH Management from March 2021 to March 2022. Jacob accumulated significant operational experience as an Operations Supervisor at both the Iowa Events Center and Spectra from August 2016 to August 2020. Earlier, Jacob worked as a Building Coordinator and Student Supervisor at the University of Northern Iowa, overseeing events at key campus facilities. Additionally, Jacob gained marketing experience as an intern at Long Lines. Academically, Jacob holds a Master of Arts in Leisure, Youth, & Human Services and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a focus on Public Relations, both from the University of Northern Iowa.

We also offer commercial and residential estimating as well as an engineered wood department. In January 2004, Beisser Lumber opened a 26,500 square foot door plant. Our door plant produces a wide variety of interior and exterior doors for single family, apartment, and commercial projects. By directly monitoring production, we can guarantee product quality to our customers. Beisser Lumber also offers panelized walls for commercial and residential construction. With over 15 years of experience building panelized walls; we can deliver quality materials and accurate time-line production to make your project successful. Built in a climate controlled environment; utilizing time-tested building methods combined with modern technology; our Components Division offers a turn key product that is ready to install upon arrival.
