Lauren Turner

Lauren Turner is a Research Agronomist at Bejo Seeds Inc since November 2022, with prior experience as a Plant Standards Officer at the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions from July 2020 to June 2022, focusing on plant pest and disease management and regulatory compliance. As a Nursery Assistant at Plant Growers Australia, Lauren contributed to nursery production tasks, including plant maintenance and machinery operation. Additionally, a brief internship at AUSVEG allowed Lauren to develop pest information resources and engage with industry stakeholders. Lauren began the professional journey as a Research Assistant at Box Hill Institute, investigating management strategies for Queensland Fruit Fly, and holds a Bachelor of Biosecurity Science from Box Hill Institute, earned between 2017 and 2019.
