Courtney Skunda Hall has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Courtney served as Vice President, Client Growth + Strategies at BE&K Building Group starting in October 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Business Development Manager at the same company from December 2017 to October 2022.
Before joining BE&K Building Group, Hall worked at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center. Courtney held the titles of Director, Projects and Prospects from September 2016 to December 2017, and Director, Bioscience Industrial Development from July 2014 to December 2017. In these roles, they were responsible for supporting life science recruitment and expansion projects, managing relationships with biotech and life science companies, coordinating outreach activities, organizing client visits and presentations, and overseeing various economic development programs.
Hall's work experience also includes a role at Virginia BioTechnology Research Park, where they served as Director of Community Relations and Communications (previously Marketing and Communications Manager) from September 2008 to February 2014. There, they were responsible for designing and implementing marketing and communications plans, managing press inquiries and announcements, and planning and executing community events and programs.
Additionally, Hall has worked as a Campaign Coordinator at Consultant from 2007 to 2008, a Government Affairs Associate at Troutman Sanders LLP from 2003 to 2006, and an Intern at the U.S. House of Representatives in 2002. Courtney'sroles in these positions involved activities such as advocating for clients, tracking legislative issues, preparing reports, and planning legislative events.
