Farmal Khan

Farmal Khan is an R&D Engineer specializing in hydrogen at Bekaert since January 2024. Previously, Farmal served as a Junior Process Engineer at ionysis GmbH from September 2022 to December 2023, focusing on catalyst ink optimization and scaling production for PEM fuel cells, while implementing quality culture based on Lean Six Sigma and ISO standards. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at Hahn-Schickard, where Farmal was involved in membrane electrode assembly development, and a Master Thesis project centered on fluorine-free membrane electrode assemblies. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Sustainable Systems Engineering from The University of Freiburg and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology.
