Yalkin Avci has a diverse range of work experience. Yalkin started their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers Istanbul, where they held various roles, including Assistant Manager, Manager, and Senior Manager. During their time there, they directed large-scale international audit engagements, supervised financial reporting, assessed forecasts and budgets, and participated in due-diligence and acquisition projects.
After leaving PricewaterhouseCoopers, Yalkin Avci worked at Groupon as the Regional Finance Director for different regions. Yalkin then moved on to CMC Turkey and CMC Iletisim ve Cagri Merkezi Hizmetleri A.S., where they served as the Chief Financial Officer.
In 2018, Yalkin Avci joined Arçelik Global as the Financial Projects Coordination Manager before taking on the role of Chief Financial Officer at Beko Global in 2019.
Yalkin Avci's education history begins in 1991 when they enrolled at Lycée Charles de Gaulle, where they obtained a Bachelier degree in Economics and Social Studies in 1995. Yalkin then attended Lycée Pierre Mendes France from 1995 to 1997 and earned another Bachelier degree in Economique et Social.
In 1997, Yalkin Avci joined Université Tunis III, where they studied Management and Economics for a year. Yalkin later transferred to Middle East Technical University and pursued a B.S. in Economics from 1998 to 2002.
Furthermore, Yalkin Avci has acquired additional certifications to enhance their professional expertise. Yalkin obtained a Certified Public Accountant certification from SMMM in 2006 and a Capital Markets Board certification from SPK in 2010.
