Chief Customer Officer at Bel Brands USA, Inc.

Before coming to Bel Brands USA in 2022, Mike spent six years with Materne USA, a subsidiary of Bel Groupe, driving double-digit net sales and profits by applying a deep understanding of the customers. He says the entrepreneurial culture gave him the freedom and feeling of ownership, allowing him to advance quickly through several sales director positions. Most recently, he was vice president, of sales grocery, in charge of the GoGo SqueeZ brand. At Bel USA, he is responsible for the sales, trade, and category management capabilities for the entire organization and manages 62 people.

While he describes himself as “absolutely customer focused,” Mike does not miss an opportunity to leverage cost negotiations and mitigate a loss with a gain to score the win-win for the company and the customer. Mike’s passion for the consumer-packaged goods business started at home. His father was vice president of sales and marketing for a wholesaler in the southeast U.S. and Mike frequently tagged along to sales and client meetings, networking with manufacturers around the country.
