Marijke Bootsma

Marijke Bootsma is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in policy and strategic advisory roles, currently serving as Sr bestuursadviseur at Belastingdienst since June 2022. Prior to this, Bootsma held positions as (Sr) Beleidsmedewerker at the Ministerie van Sociale Zaken en Werkgelegenheid from March 2016 to July 2022 and Senior Advisor at Inspectie SZW, providing political, administrative, and strategic advice from March 2013 to July 2022. Bootsma's career also includes a role as Senior Beleidsmedewerker Besturing, Informatie en Control at the Ministerie van BZK from October 2006 to July 2022, as well as serving as Unitmanager at the Immigratie- en Naturalisatiedienst from 2003 to 2006. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Psychology, European Studies from the University of Amsterdam and a Staatsexamen as a Tolk/vertaler Spaans. Education was completed at Murmellius Gymnasium from 1979 to 1986.
