Stephan Auwerda

Stephan Auwerda is a Java software engineer with extensive experience in various IT roles. Currently employed at Belastingdienst since May 2023, Stephan is essential to a large-scale migration project transitioning from COOL:Gen to a Java-based framework utilizing microservices architecture. Concurrently, at Team Rockstars IT, Stephan is actively exploring cloud computing and DevOps. Prior experience includes modernizing a JavaEE 8-based warehouse management system at Ordina for SPS bv, designing a scalable FinTech framework at Pluriform Software, and contributing to an advanced survey system during an internship at the same company. Stephan also gained early experience as a software engineering intern at iLysian B.V. and worked in customer service at Mo-Jo Helmond B.V. Educationally, Stephan earned a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering and completed a minor in English language & culture at Fontys University of Applied Sciences.
