Gim Koon Chia

Gim Koon Chia has over 19 years of experience in the engineering and technical support fields, currently serving as the Director of the Customer Innovation Center at Belden Inc. since February 2014. Previous roles at Belden include Senior Solution Support Manager, Senior Application Engineering Manager, and Application Engineering Manager, where responsibilities ranged from mentorship and application leadership for Southeast Asia/Australia and New Zealand to overseeing pre-sales and post-sales activities for electrical substation automation network solutions. Prior experience includes training for ABB's System 800xA DCS and a senior application engineer role at Power Automation Pte Ltd, which involved a significant assignment in the USA for the Central Dispatch Control System project. Gim Koon Chia holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) in Electrical Engineering from UNSW and a diploma from Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
