Thomas Niessen is a seasoned professional in the field of industrial automation and solutions with extensive experience in research and development, change management, and product management. Currently serving as Global Leader R&D - Industrial Automation Solutions at Belden Inc. since April 2021, Thomas is responsible for advancing the company's transformation into a leading OT networking and data solution provider. Previous roles at Belden include VP Global Change Management and VP Global (Product) Category Data Orchestration and Management. Prior to Belden, Thomas held key positions at R.STAHL as Leiter BU Systems and TE Connectivity as Global Product Management Appliances Relays, among others, showcasing a strong track record in product strategy, operational management, and strategic planning.
