Basile Cognaux

Basile Cognaux currently serves as the Deputy Head of Equity Capital Markets at Belfius Bank in Brussels, a role held since May 2018, where responsibilities include partnership with Kepler Cheuvreux and development of the bank's ECM franchise. Prior positions at Belfius included Vice President and Associate within the same department, contributing to corporate finance and capital markets initiatives. In addition to banking, Basile serves as a Corporate Development Coach for the Aether Student CubeSat Team, advising on corporate development strategies, and is a member of the Management Board for Road to Glory VZW/ASBL, which supports underprivileged youth through kickboxing. Earlier experience includes guiding equestrian tours from 2013 to 2018 and providing private tutoring in various subjects. Basile's educational background includes advanced studies in Financial Markets from the Solvay Brussels School and multiple degrees in Political Science from esteemed institutions, including Université libre de Bruxelles and Université de Namur.
